I’ve been a member for 3 years, I’ve doubled my portfolio using KISS. It’s made up for all the losses I had experienced during the dot com bust and GFC, with a lot less stress mind you which is really important now that I’m older and retired.

I am a member because I also want to avoid being in the market for a dot com, 2008 etc… crash. I went through both the dot com and 2008. I also want to be in the market at the right times. In the past when I exited the market it was tough getting back into the market with confidence. I feel confident about exiting and entering the market with what Darius and 42 Macro have built.

I’ve lived through 2000 and 2008, I have no desire to have my portfolio exposed to those outcomes again.

But before 42 Macro I’ve been too conservative. It’s worked out because I bet successfully on my income, but my investment outcomes could have been better. Most of my thinking before was born from the scars of 2000 and 2008, where I saw friends and coworkers get blown up. I was not going to let that happen to me.

First off, I’d like to start with THANK YOU! I am a 59-year-old retired dentist as of November 2025. I’ve scraped, saved and invested with no risk management for decades, basically following the DCA long-only TradFi narrative — always giving back gains throughout this time, which has been extremely painful. I’ve been following you for years, and over a year ago I finally became an official client. The information and EDUCATION I’ve received has literally been life-changing.

Lost a crap ton of my portfolio in 2022. I joined Father’s Day 2023. In 2025 I finally broke even. KISS doesn’t have to make me rich, but it does need to protect the decades of effort I have put in to get to this point. I now fully expect to retire on time and comfortably.

I have very slowly — and very painfully — come to the complete recognition that your quantitative systems beat my (overly-bearish) biases every day of the week, and twice on Mondays. Heeding the advice of YouTube technical analysis circus barkers has kept me thinking, time and again, “surely… THIS must be the top,” repeatedly putting myself on the wrong side of market risk over the last 2 years. All along, your KISS and Dr. Mo frameworks have pointed the way home.

I banged my head against the wall for years trying to beat the market. While I did ok, I was constantly stressing over my portfolio. Switched to KISS & I’m not only beating the market, I’m way less stressed!

Thanks for all you do. I have spent 30 years living through market ups and downs and your process/approach has reduced the vol in my life.

During the Covid crash, 2020, I experienced a 48% drawdown in my super risky portfolio. I sold to cash at the bottom and I was devastated and felt shame for years with my life savings cut in half. In 2025 I discovered 42Macro on YouTube and finally made the plunge in 2026. I feel this is the best investing style for me.

I’ve spent the last 30 years avoiding as much left-tail risk as I could. Looking back, I did “ok” in that respect. However, neglecting the right-tail risk ate my lunch. If I had had access to this kind of service all those years ago, I am sure my net worth would be at least 2X.

I have traded my entire adult life and, due to a cautious nature, I have ALWAYS underperformed the market. Over my three years with you, I have achieved seven-digit returns, completely overcoming decades of underinvestment.

In the past, before 42 Macro, days like today and yesterday would have caused me anxiety and I would be thinking things are running away and I’m being left behind. Now, a year+ into KISS, that anxiety is replaced with a calming peace. Priceless!!

Your work has affected my family and mental health over the past 18 months I have been here, in the most positive way. I have more time now, less stress and now can spend more time with my kids.

I have only been a subscriber for a short while but have learned a tremendous amount from the Macro Minutes and Around the Horns. My investing mental hygiene is improving exponentially.

I have just completed my first year with the system and have never had better returns and lower stress.

I have been with the team for 6 months now. How much I regret not climbing on board sooner, all those wasted years. I am a simple retail investor, with enough knowledge and experience to understand what you say. Compounding over time is exactly that, because even with the recent closing of the stock position and then buying back in, I am still 14 percent ahead of where I was. It works.

I’ve only been investing for about 3 years, and sat on the sidelines in defensive stocks because every chart I look at as a risk/reward investment looks like it’s heavily skewed to the downside after such a ridiculous run up. I sleep like a baby these days. Nobody likes the drawdowns, but they’re inevitable. I’m at peace knowing that top-down and bottom-up KISS and Dr. Mo are going to help me avoid Type 2 errors. At 53, I’ve lived through a few of these and I’m thriving. Can’t wonder how much better off I’d be if I had not gone through some of those earlier drawdowns around Y2K and in 2008. Where was 42 Macro then… LOL

I started investing in 1998 and lived through multiple Type 2 losses. Anyone who hasn’t cannot imagine the sickening feeling of watching your life’s savings get cut in half or more. Years of working and saving disappearing daily. I will gladly miss out on 4–5% to avoid feeling that ever again.
